Franken declared Senate winner, Coleman concedes

Bomb kills 32 in Iraq as U.S. troops leave

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Hours after U.S. troops handed over control of Iraq’s cities to its domestic security forces, a car bomb in the northern city of Kirkuk killed at least 32 people and wounded more than 100 on Tuesday, police said.

Yemeni plane crashes off Comoros, girl found alive

MORONI (Reuters) - An Airbus A310-300 from Yemen with 153 people on board, including 66 French nationals, crashed into the sea off the Indian Ocean archipelago of Comoros as it approached in terrible weather early on Tuesday, officials said.
